When announcing to the Baltimore community that Stevenson University is starting Women's Hockey during the 2012-2013 season, Stevenson University wanted to make sure that we did it with style! So what better way than to have the announcement during one of the intermissions of the Washington Capitals pre-season game against the Nashville Predators. The crowd of thousands at First Mariner Arena in downtown Baltimore were on their feet applauding and cheering at the news that Women's Hockey was coming to the area. The excitement is definitely building for the historic team to arrive on campus and start playing during 2012-2013 season!
