Stevenson University is excited to annouce the hiring of Joey Lye as the new assistant coach for the Women's Hockey program! A native of Toronto, Ontario, Coach Lye comes to us from Williams College where she served as the Interim Head Coach during the 2010-2011 season. In addition to being actively involved with the Women's Hockey program at Williams College, Coach Lye also served as the Assistant Softball Coach for the Ephs.
Joey is a four-year letter winner in both softball and hockey at Williams College and garnered all kinds of awards during her time on the ice and in the field – including the 2009 NESCAC Player of the Year in softball and a spot on the conference’s All-Sportsmanship team in both sports. After graduating from Williams is 2009 with a bachelor's degree in psychology, Coach Lye was named to the Canadian National Softball Team and is still involved with the national program as a utility player.As a duel-sport athlete at a small Division III college, Coach Lye is bringing her amazing experiences to the Women's Hockey team at Stevenson University and will be a great asset to our program moving forward!
